Winterjam in Ohio!
8 FebIf you know anything about me, you know I love Ohio. I think I talk about it in almost every blog I write. I even have a small tattoo of Ohio on my arm. That’s how much I love it. Well, it’s a tattoo of Home, actually, but what better way to depict the larger, personal notion of Home than with a small icon of the physical place? By the way, the words in the picture above isn’t tattoo ink. It’s just a Bic. I mean, that’d be weird, right?
Anyway. This weekend’s run on Winterjam was the one I was most excited for. We played in Columbus and Cleveland. In Columbus, we played at The Ohio State University. I got to start the “OH-IO” chant for the entire crowd. If ten-year old Danny ever knew he’d get to do that one day…well, it was just awesome.

What's shaking Winterjam?
The next night was in Cleveland, and that old lake town has a place in my heart too. It’s like a bigger Toledo, where there’s never blue sky. Just rain, snow, and comfortable gloom, which the gloom is a big part of the city’s charm. And the Cleve didn’t let us down. I hit up some of my favorite spots. The Rock And Roll Hall of Fame. The Christmas Story House. Lucky’s Cafe.
In the afternoon, our manager, Jenn, and I were running some errands. The Christmas Story house wasn’t too far out of the way, so we stopped by for a visit. Neither of us bought a leg lamp or anything, but we did take some photos.
By the way, I hear you can get married in the house. That’s pretty fun, right? Something to keep in mind should the occasion arise.
Alright. I’m done. See y’all somewhere else!
